23rd March 2007Saigon International Darts League Etiquette 2007

To make the game more pleasurable for everyone the committee would like to suggest a few basic rules of etiquette.

o       The game should be played in a good spirit at all times

o       If you are not playing at the time you should not be within 1 metre of players.

o       Where the venue allows viewing from the side, then please consider the darters when they are throwing and remain still.

o       We cannot insist on silence but please consider the opposition darters when shouting “encouragement”, your own players will soon make their feelings known.

o       The start time is 7.00pm so please be punctual, if you know you are going to be late then advise your captain and if it is the captain then advise the opposition before 7.00pm.

o       A player should verbally inform the Scorer of his 3-dart total before removing his Darts from the board.

o       A player should pay adequate attention to his points tally (and that of his opponent) and inform the scorer immediately of any errors.

o       If a player busts he should not throw or hurl any remaining darts at the board, but advise the scorer and remove his darts from the board.
